Founded in 2013, the Ceca Foundation strives to enhance the human experience within healthcare communities by acknowledging the exceptional efforts of caregivers. Healthcare organizations often struggle with burnout and staff turnover. The Ceca Foundation tackles this issue by offering a recognition program that values appreciation and acknowledgment over mere competitive compensation. By honoring caregivers, Ceca cultivates a culture of positive reinforcement and employee engagement, which in turn leads to increased safety, better staff retention, and enhanced care delivery.

Through the Ceca Award Program, the foundation celebrates these dedicated individuals, promoting not only a positive patient experience, but also improved quality of care for patients, residents, and their families. Working with healthcare communities from all across the country, the Ceca Award Program has recognized over 42,000 remarkable acts of care since its inception in 2013!
